# 风险
用户的抵押物永远不会被清算，因为其债务是不断减少的。
使用 ALPACA 作为机枪池协议，也是因为看重其安全性。
Scientix 协议经过两家审计公司严格的安全审查和审计。万一出现意外，我们也有安全保护程序保证资金可以从ALPACA被赎回归还给所有用户。
Scientix还有两个额外的安全措施来保护协议。

## **scUSD仅能借入50%，请问与持有BUSD相比有什么优势？**
抵押的BUSD将会存到ALPACA获取收益，这和你自己存BUSD到ALPACA的收益几乎是一样的（Scientix会收收益的10%作为分红）。在这个基础上，你还可以获得等价于50%的本金的scUSD继续使用或投资。而且这个过程可以不断循坏，理论上最大可以获得2倍的资金使用率。
## **Scientix 如何确保scUSD锚定在1刀**

# Scientix Finance

# How to Participate
## How to participate in Scientix Finance
To participate in Scientix Finance, you need to deposit BUSD into the vault. After that, you can borrow scUSD up to 50% of the deposited amount. Your debt will have a minimum 200% collateralization ratio.
### 💰 Vault
The vault deposits BUSD into [ALPACA](https://www.alpacafinance.org/) to get the lending interests and ibBUSD stake rewards. The yield pays down the global debt in the system, reducing all depositors' debt. If you didn't borrow scUSD, the yield will increase your scUSD borrow limit. Users can withdraw in the amount up to reaching the 200% collateralization ratio. So as the protocol pays down your debt, you can withdraw more BUSD.
At any time, you can repay a portion or all of your debt in order to unlock your collateral. BUSD and scUSD are treated 1:1 for repayment and liquidation. As such, you can repay your scUSD debt with BUSD and/or scUSD. Repaying debt with scUSD is also a pegging mechanism because if scUSD were to be under the peg, users could buy it from AMMs and pay off their debt at a discount.
At any time, you can liquidate a portion or all of your collateral. The contract will repay your scUSD debt using the BUSD from your collateral.
### ⚙️ Transmuter
Once the global debt was reduced by the yield, the proceeds will be transferred to the Transmuter Contract. The Transmuter is the chief pegging mechanism for the Scientix protocol. Participants will be guaranteed to have a 1:1 redemption of scUSD for BUSD.
Users deposit scUSD into the Transmuter. As the yield comes in, it will credit BUSD in proportion to users with the amount they have staked. Once a user chooses to withdraw the converted BUSD, the same amount of scUSD will be burned.
In this process, there is an interesting side effect: a user's position has the chance to be overfilled. Let's take an example, a user deposits 1000 scUSD, and after some time, that staking position will have 1050 BUSD filled. Once a user has gone past this limit, other users may have the chance to initialize a claim on their behalf. For any balance of BUSD exceed their staked scUSD, the user who claimed on their behalf will have that surplus in amount immediately convert their staked scUSD. In this given case, the user who claimed it will have 50 of their scUSD immediately converted into BUSD. If the person who staked the scUSD claims their BUSD with a surplus, the surplus will be cycled back into the Transmuter and be spread globally.

# Deposit
Deposit BUSD in order to borrow scUSD.
* Go to the [Vault](https://scientix.finance/#/vault) page.
* Connect to your wallet (such as MetaMask). Make sure your network is set to Binance Smart Chain. Click [here](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain) if you don't have it set up.
* Click **DEPOSIT** tab.
* Input your amount and click the **Deposit** button.
* Confirm the transaction and wait for the page to auto-update the data in a few seconds.
# Borrow
Borrow up to 50% the value of your collateral in scUSD. Your debt will be automatically paid down by yield from alpacafinance.org.
* Click the **BORROW** tab.
* Input the amount and click the **Borrow** button. Make sure that the amount you input should be less than the amount of **Available to borrow.**
* Confirm the transaction and wait for the data refresh.
# Withdraw
Withdraw your deposited BUSD.
* Click the **WITHDRAW** tab.
* Input the amount and click the **Withdraw** button. The remaining collateral should be 2 times greater than the scUSD debt.
* Confirm the transaction.
# Repay
Repay the remaining 0.000 scUSD debt from your wallet using scUSD and/or BUSD.
You can repay your debt with scUSD or BUSD.
* Click the **REPAY** tab.
* Choose the asset that you want to repay with.
* Input the amount and click the **Repay** button.
* Confirm the transaction.
# Liquidate
Repay the remaining 0.000 scUSD debt by liquidating your BUSD collateral.
You can also repay the debt by liquidating your collateral.
* Click the **LIQUIDATE** tab.

# Transmute
Transmute to BUSD.
You can stake scUSD to Transmute pool. Your staked scUSD will gradually be converted to BUSD over time. The ALPACA yield will pay for this.

* Input the amount and click the **Stake** button.
* Confirm the transaction.
* **Transmute**
It will convert your scUSD to BUSD according to the **Total BUSD Available for Transmutation.**

# Farm
Earn SCIX via staking.
There are four pools on the farm**: PancakeSwap SCIX/BUSD LP, PancakeSwap scUSD/BUSD LP, SCIX, and ibALPACA.** You can stake these tokens and earn the SCIX rewards.
You can add liquidity by opening the modals of SCIX/BUSD LP pool or scUSD/BUSD pool, and click the **Add Liquidity on Pancake** button.
You can stake the tokens that the pool needs and get SCIX rewards.
You can claim SCIX rewards at any time.
SCIX pool is different from the other pools. You need to lock SCIX to get the rewards.
**The lock period can't be modified except extended. There is only one lock period for the same wallet address. If you want to lock SCIX in different lock periods, you need more wallet addresses to do this.**
**The rewards for SCIX pool include two parts:** [**SCIX emission**](https://app.gitbook.com/@scientix-gitbook/s/scientix/~/drafts/-MitzwkaxktXfU3E1m6a/tokenomics/staking-pools) **and 100% of the Scientix Protocol fee (10% of ALPACA vault yield).**
You can **Add SCIX** or **Extend Lock** when your lock is not expired. After expired, you can **Withdraw** your SCIX.

Stake bSCIX and claim vesting SCIX
People who participate in the [SCIX Public Auction ](https://twitter.com/ScientixFinance/status/1442345310554972172)can stake their bSCIX and claim the linear released SCIX.
* Go to the Farm page.
* Click SCIX Vesting button.
* Input your bSCIX amount and click **Add** button after you have approved the allowance. bSCIX added will increase the amount of Vesting SCIX. You can add your bSCIX with any amount at anytime after the auction.
* The locked SCIX will be released linearly in the coming 3 months. You can claim the claimable SCIX at anytime. The exchange rate between bSCIX and Vesting SCIX is always 1:1.
# Harvest
We harvest the ALPACA yields to repay the users' debt every day. It usually happens at 19:00 pm PST.
However, users can harvest the yields by themself at any time.

# Risks
There will never be a liquidation of a user's collateral unless they do it themselves because your debt will only ever go down.
We value the safety of users' deposits more highly than anything else. It is the main reason we chose ALPACA as our yield aggregator.
Scientix Protocol undergoes security reviews and audits. However, there is no guarantee that something bad won't happen. Vaults have an emergency shutdown procedure in such a case. If this procedure is initialized, then all funds will be withdrawn from ALPACA, deposits will be paused, and users can pay down their debt and exit the system safely.\

Two additional security measures exist to protect the protocol.
First, there is a limit for how much scUSD can be minted from each asset. This limit depends on the level of technical, market, and legal risk for a given asset.
Second, Scientix uses oracle price feeds. If a stable coin's value is under a certain threshold, minting, repaying and liquidations will be paused until its value is back to acceptable levels.
These security measures will protect much of the Scientix synthetic token's value.
# SCIX Token
The Scientix team believes in the values of fair launch. So 100% of the tokens will be obtained by staking certain tokens and liquidity pool tokens in the Staking Pools contract.
* The Scientix team has access to an exclusive staking pool, which will receive 25% of the SCIX block reward.
* 15% of SCIX tokens are reserved for future strategic expenses. These include listing fees, audits, third-party services, liquidity for partnerships, etc.
* 1% of the SCIX tokens will be the incentives of 5 multi-sig cosigners which will be the initial governance DAO until fully on-chain governance is ready.
* 2% of the first year SCIX supply will be mint at the launch time as the funding of initial liquidity provisioning, auditing fees, early development, marketing, hiring and etc.
* ALPACA token holders have access to an exclusive staking pool, which will receive 5% of the SCIX block reward.
* Stakers and liquidity providers are eligible to obtain 55% of the SCIX block reward.
## 🥤 What is the SCIX token used for?
### **Governance**
SCIX Tokens give holders governance rights over the direction of the protocol and use of the treasury.
The Scientix DAO will begin as a developer multisig (2 votes from ALPACA, 2 votes from Scientix, one vote from independent signer) with signaling through the Snapshot app. It will transition into a feature complete DAO.
### **Farming**
33% of SCIX tokens are for SCIX/BUSD PancakeSwap LP tokens**'** farming. This pair will provide a liquid market for SCIX tokens.
11% of SCIX tokens are for SCIX tokens' farming. This pool is to reward those SCIX holders who may not be able to join the SCIX/BUSD pool because of too much risk. The lifetime of this pool will be determined by the community.
### **Capture Economic Benefits of the Platform**
10% of ALPACA yields will be transferred to the treasury. All of them will be distributed to stakers of SCIX.
# Staking Pools
At launch, there will be four pools:
* One for ibALPACA
* One for SCIX
* One for scUSD/BUSD PancakeSwap LP token
* One for SCIX/BUSD PancakeSwap LP token
The following determines the initial weight and the rationale of each:
* 11% of SCIX tokens are for scUSD/BUSD PancakeSwap LP tokens. It is important to establish a peg as close as possible to the US dollar and provide deep liquidity for scUSD. Doing so will provide real utility to scUSD, as it can be easily converted to BUSD with low slippage, thereby increasing yield farming income.
* 33% of SCIX tokens are for SCIX/BUSD PancakeSwap LP tokens. This pair will provide a liquid market for SCIX tokens.
* 11% of SCIX tokens are for SCIX tokens. This pool is to reward those SCIX holders who may not be able to join the SCIX/BUSD pool because of too much risk.
* 5% of SCIX tokens are for ibALPACA tokens. ibALPACA token holders have access to an exclusive staking pool.
As Scientix brings more scientific synthetic tokens to the market, these pools and their weights will be adjusted. The priority will be to motivate the synthetic pair with their base asset.
# SCIX Emissions Schedule
In the first week of staking, it will distribute approximately 30,000 SCIX tokens, and the number will decrease by approximately 500 SCIX per week within a year. Since SCIX rewards are calculated on a block basis, network conditions may slightly affect the emission schedule, but the impact should be negligible. One year later, there will be a fixed amount of 4,000 SCIX emissions per week, increasing the total supply of 208,000 SCIX each year.

## What is Scientix Finance?

## **How Scientix works?**
It’s quite simple and straightforward:
1\. When you deposit assets (BUSD for now) on Scientix, you can collateralize those assets to borrow scUSD without interest.
2\. Because scUSD is a mirrored synthetic stablecoin pegged to BUSD, your loan can never be liquidated.
3\. At the same time, your BUSD collateral will be deployed into Alpaca Finance’s lending vault to earn you yields!
4\. Then, over time, the yields generated will automatically repay your debt for you!
## **How’s the tokenomics?**
The Scientix team believes in the values of fair launch. So 100% of the tokens will be obtained by staking certain tokens and liquidity pool tokens in the Staking Pools contract.
* The Scientix team has access to an exclusive staking pool, which will receive 25% of the SCIX block reward.

The answer is yes. ## **Do you have a coin burn / buyback system or do you plan to increase the value of those token burn tokens and attract investors to invest?**
All protocol fees (10% of Alpaca yields) will be used to buyback SCIX and distributed to SCIX stakers. We will develop more for increasing SCIX value.
